Above: The Suprema BioEntry P2, a slimline biometric reader compatible with Inner Range via OSDP or Wiegand.
🧠 The Concept
Biometrics like fingerprint and facial recognition add a layer of "Who You Are" (Factor 3) to security. Inner Range integrates deeply with Suprema BioStar 2. Users are enrolled once in the Integriti software, and their biometric templates are automatically synced to the physical readers on the doors.
🛠️ Hands-on Steps
- Enrollment: Use a USB enrollment scanner at the security desk to capture the user's fingerprint templates.
- Assign User: In Integriti, link the fingerprint templates to the User's profile.
- Hardware Sync: Ensure the Suprema reader is in "OSDP Mode" to allow the Integriti server to push template data to it.
- Testing: Verify that a "Match" on the reader generates a "Valid Access" event in the Integriti event log.
